AIXTRON SE today announced that EpiLEDs Technologies Inc., a leading LED manufacturer in Taiwan, placed an order for one CRIUS II-L MOCVD system in a 69x2-inch wafer configuration.

Jiangsu CANYANG to boost HB blue LED capacity with AIXTRON CRIUS II

AIXTRON SE today announced a new order for four CRIUS II MOCVD systems in a 55x2-inch configuration from China´s Jiangsu CANYANG Optoelectronics LTD., a joint venture with Taiwan-based LED chipmaker Formosa Epitaxy (FOREPI). The company is seeking a smooth process transfer up from their existing CRIUS MOCVD reactors to AIXTRON´s new generation platform.

AIXTRON SE today announced the first delivery of the recently launched CRIUS II-L MOCVD system to Epistar, Taiwan’s leading manufacturer of optoelectronic materials and devices. The CRIUS II-L offers the world’s largest MOCVD reactor capacity of 69x2” or 16x4” wafers and reflects the next evolution step of the proven CRIUS II system.

AIXTRON Black Magic enables CNT and Graphene technology at Pusan National University

AIXTRON SE today announced that Pusan National University (PNU), Korea, has procured an AIXTRON 4-inch Black Magic PECVD system. PNU researchers are using the system for the production of carbon nanotubes and Graphene for renewable energy devices. The turnkey system was installed and commissioned by the local AIXTRON service and support team.
